Major Kognitywistyka

Kognitywistyka na Uniwersytecie im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu ma najdłuższą w Polsce, prawie 20-letnią tradycję, a Wydział Psychologii i Kognitywistyki jest rozpoznawany jako jeden z wiodących polskich ośrodków badań kognitywistycznych i kształcenia w tej dziedzinie. Kognitywistyka jest interdyscyplinarnym kierunkiem studiów, który zajmuje się ludzkim umysłem i procesami poznawczymi. To kierunek o ogólnoakademickim profilu kształcenia, a więc którego program jest ściśle powiązany z badaniami naukowymi w dyscyplinach psychologia oraz nauki o komunikacji społecznej i mediach. Osoby studiujące kognitywistykę mają okazję zdobyć wiedzę z zakresu psychologii, filozofii i logiki, biologii i neuronauki, informatyki, językoznawstwa, a także poznać metody i możliwości integrowania wiedzy z tych dyscyplin. Uczestnicząc w projektach badawczych z zakresu kognitywistyki poznają nowoczesne metody badawcze. Absolwenci i absolwentki są w stanie zatem zarówno korzystać z zasobów poszczególnych dyscyplin bazowych, jak i twórczo rozwiązywać problemy wymagające na przykład wiązania wiedzy psychologicznej z informatyczną, teoriami sztucznej inteligencji i logiką czy biologii z językoznawstwem i filozofią.

Przedmioty: wstęp do kognitywistyki, wstęp do psychologii poznawczej, wstęp do filozofii, wstęp do logiki objęte są obowiązkiem zaliczenia w tym semestrze (nie ma możliwości kontynuowania studiów na kolejnych semestrach bez ich zaliczenia).
