Major European Legal Studies

European Legal Studies is a three-year undergraduate programme taught in English. Graduates obtain the professional title of licencjat (Bachelor) upon the submission and defence of a thesis prepared in English. The course includes courses in the field oplf European Union law and European integration, featuring inter alia, introduction to international law, international organizations, including organizations in Europe, such as the Council of Europe, protection of human rights and the system of European Union law, in the context of economic and social aspects of integration process.  Mandatory courses introduce the basics of administrative law from European perspective, comparative perspective on constitutional and private law, introduction to criminal law and environmental protection, legal English and modern foreign language. Optional modules offer the possibility to expand the perspective and to deepen the knowledge  of EU policies and impact of EU law in selected areas.
