Major Językoznawstwo i zarządzanie informacją

Kierunek językoznawstwo i zarządzanie informacją został powołany w Katedrze Metodologii Lingwistyki w miejsce specjalności językoznawstwo i nauka o informacji realizowanej przez wiele lat w byłym Instytucie Językoznawstwa. Zachowano główną linię programową związaną z ideą łączenia wiedzy językoznawczej z przedmiotami z zakresu matematyki, logiki i informatyki. Wprowadzone w ramach nowo proponowanego kierunku zmiany uwzględniają postęp wiedzy i zapotrzebowanie rynku pracy. Uaktualniono i rozszerzono część informatyczną z położeniem nacisku na problematykę zarządzania informacją. Zaproponowano nowe przedmioty w części humanistycznej, które pozwoliły na poszerzenie kompetencji absolwentów w zakresie nowoczesnej retoryki i takiego ujęcia danych językowych, które ułatwia ich cyfrowe opracowanie.
