Major Geologia

2024/25, First-cycle programme, Full-time

Kierunek geologia jest kierunkiem o profilu ogólnoakademickim, po ukończeniu którego absolwent uzyskuje tytuł zawodowy licencjata. Cykl kształcenia składa się z sześciu semestrów. Studia przygotowują na poziomie podstawowym do pracy w zawodzie geologa wykonywanej w różnych działach geologii, w tym geologii poszukiwawczej i złożowej, kartografii geologicznej, hydrogeologii i geologii inżynierskiej, na stanowiskach administracyjnych dotyczących zagadnień geologicznych. Zawierają w programie obowiązkowe praktyki zawodowe. Umożliwiają staranie się o stwierdzenie przez Ministra Środowiska i Klimatu kwalifikacji zawodowych geologa (tzw. uprawnień geologicznych) w kategorii 5 i 7. Przygotowują też do kontynuacji kształcenia na studiach 2. stopnia (magisterskich) na kierunku geologia oraz pokrewnych, dotyczących nauk o Ziemi.
